Job Responsibilities

">

As a Tax Attorney in our Corporate, Tax & Transactional Service Line, you will engage in sophisticated and challenging tax work for clients across the nation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects and deadlines, utilizing their analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
  • Active bar license for the state in which candidate will work out of
  • LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning, or CPA preferred
  • 5+ years professional law practice experience (private practice or in-house preferred)
  • Strong technological skills, including proficiency with practice management systems and portals
  • Superior research skills, including the use of online services and databases
  • Project management skills, including the ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a high degree of confidentiality

Physical Requirements

">

The position requires sitting for up to one-half hour at a time, lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds occasionally, bending and stooping occasionally. Salary: $145,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
