Job Description

Joriki USA Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for the management and assessment of all Food Safety Programs within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tactical direction for Regulatory and Crisis Management issues, including interaction with FDA and local Regulatory Agencies.
  • Develop and implement Joriki USA Inc.'s Food Safety & Quality Programs to ensure all relevant Client Quality requirements are met.
  • Ensure progress against Quality KPIs and develop action plans to address areas of concern.
  • Assist Quality & Production Team Members to drive new product/process sustainability to deliver consistent Quality KPIs.
  • Provide technical support to the development and commercialization of new products.
  • Follow-up and coordinate the release and/or removal of hold product through the proper channels.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of Quality Systems in the Joriki USA Inc. business units to ensure all internal Quality standards exceed Client & Consumer expectations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in poultry/animal science, biology, or chemistry preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a quality assurance role in lieu of required education.
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Requires adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
