Job Summary

The Associate Optometrist is a key leader in our organization, responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and driving business results through collaboration and teamwork. This role requires a strong commitment to quality patient care, as well as the ability to maximize results and practice growth through strong partnerships with the MOD, SMM, and team.

Main Responsibilities

* Ensure all patients receive the highest quality Optometric care by performing clinical protocols while maximizing results and practicing growth through strong partnerships with the MOD, SMM, and team.
* Deliver key performance indicators and serve as a leading ambassador of the Brand inside and outside the organization, driven by passion and high standards to always go above and beyond.
* Operate as a successful stakeholder to all leaders within the organization and local market, placing the patient/customer first and delivering excellent service.
* Strive to exceed expectations on all KPIs.

Key Performance Indicators

* Conveys a commitment to providing unsurpassed Patient Service through ensuring staff performs the following Service Process steps:
1. Address all patients/customers visual lifestyle needs
2. Make eyewear recommendations based on patients/customers' needs
3. Explain each step of the eye exam; listen carefully to patients/customers
4. Utilize available tools and visual aids to summarize and ensure patients understand each aspect of their vision, eye health, and overall well-being
5. Communicate effectively with patients the need for annual eye exams

* Ensure all patients are appointed in TAB for their next eye exam
* Conducts all services in accordance with protocol and accepted standards of care
* Ensures all patients receive accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations
* Establishes a positive Doctor/patient relationship
* Utilizes and leverages effectively all technology to deliver unsurpassed patient/customer experiences
* Ensures office systems are maintained

Requirements

* Doctor of Optometry
* Commitment to quality patient care
* Knowledge of current Optometric theory and technology
* Strong communicator and listener
* Problem-solving ability
* Solid Organization skills
