Clinical Nurse Supervisor Job Description

At Trinity Health, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and service. As a Clinical Nurse Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of patient care by collaborating with Clinical Managers to provide adequate resources on a shift-to-shift basis.

Key Responsibilities:

* Acts as the patient throughput decision maker, responsible for upholding decision-making processes related to the management of appropriate bed assignments.
* Provides clinical support as the registered nurse responder for the Rapid Response Team.
* Rounds on units, answers colleague and patient questions, and upholds all policies and procedures.

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is preferred.
* Registered Nurse (RN) licensure: Must hold a valid and current Connecticut registered nurse licensure.
* 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience or progressive nursing leadership is preferred.
* BLS or CPR certification: Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification will be accepted.
