About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Bio-Rad Laboratories as a Quality Control Technician, supporting the Quality Control department during the manufacture and release of injection molded products.

As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet the required specifications and quality standards before they are shipped to customers. You will work closely with the production team to identify and resolve any quality issues, conduct regular inspections, and maintain detailed records of your findings.

This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. You will also need to be proficient in using inspection tools and equipment, and have knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) methods.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and at least three years of experience in injection molding quality inspection or equivalent. A specialized training in metrology, inspection, and quality assurance is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of injection molded products to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
  • Identify and resolve quality issues in collaboration with the production team.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspection activities and results accurately following good documentation practices (GDP).
  • Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends.
  • Communicate quality issues and resolutions to management.
  • Support new product development with quality input.
