Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Industrial Sales Representative to join our Outside Sales Team at Tacoma Screw Products.

Tacoma Screw Products is a leading distribution company that specializes in selling industrial supplies, fasteners, and tools to contractors, small and large businesses, and individual retail customers. With over 75 years of experience, we have established ourselves as a trusted partner in the industry.

Sales Representative Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers in the transportation-heavy equipment, maintenance and repair departments, sand/gravel pits, and machine shops industries.
  • Identify new product opportunities and provide exceptional customer service by delivering as promised and keeping appointments and pre-arranged schedules.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, special product requests, product pricing, and competitive landscape to provide expert recommendations to customers.
  • Manage customer orders efficiently, including remote order entry, maintaining accurate paperwork, documenting pricing schedules, returns, and billing information.
  • Respond to quotes consistently and timely, developing a marketing plan for current and new customers to increase sales through new and promotional products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • At least 2 years of Retail Experience; preferred in an industrial setting.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to meet insurability requirements.
  • Solid math, verbal, and written communication skills, with computer literacy and self-motivation.
Benefits
  • $60,000 - $80,000 annual salary range.

Compensation Package

Our comprehensive compensation package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-sponsored life insurance, AD&D, and Long-Term Disability coverage. Additionally, you will be eligible to participate in our 401K Plan with a 3% Company Match after 90 days of employment.

Time Off and Vacation Policy

You will receive 7 Paid Holidays, Half Days on Christmas and New Years' Eve, Washington State Paid Sick Leave, and 5 Paid Personal Days off in your first year of service. Vacation Accrual begins after one year of service.
