About the Role

As a Registered Nurse with Mercy Hospice, you will have the opportunity to provide skilled professional nursing care to terminally ill patients in their place of residence. This is a compassionate and autonomous role that allows you to connect with patients and their families in a meaningful way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled professional nursing care to assigned patients, as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with the standards of the Missouri Nurse Practice Act.
  • Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.
  • Utilize advanced technology and innovative procedures to deliver high-quality care.

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed driver and have a current RN license in the state of Missouri.
  • BLS CPR Certification through American Heart Association required.
  • Recent hospice or long-term care experience preferred.
