Job Title: Medical Interpreter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Medical Interpreter to provide language translations/interpretation services for Spanish speaking patients during provider visits, nurse visits, social work visits, phone encounters and for assistance with referral process.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide language translations/interpretation services for Spanish speaking patients
  • Assist with referral process

Requirements:

  • High school diploma / GED
  • Medical Interpreter certification preferred, otherwise, certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire
  • Proven Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • At least 1 year experience in interpretation/translation, preferably in medical situations & environments
  • Knowledge of medical terms in English and Spanish
  • Reliable means to get to work and to/from clinic sites
