Raleigh Capitol Ear, Nose, and Throat is seeking a skilled Audiologist to join our team. As a key member of our audiology department, you will be responsible for evaluating and managing the hearing and vestibular needs of patients of all ages in a fast-paced ENT practice.
Key Responsibilities- Perform adult and pediatric diagnostic assessments, including natural sleep ABR, DPOAEs, tympanometry, VRA, and CPA.
- Determine appropriate treatment plans, including the fitting and dispensing of hearing instruments and assistive listening devices.
- Evaluate hearing devices, perform repairs and maintenance on devices, and examine vestibular disorders.
- Counsel patients and their families on hearing loss and treatment plans.
- Document patient encounters in our electronic medical record system.
- Educate or train other medical staff on communication needs of the hearing impaired and topics related to hearing loss.
- Audiology doctorate or Master's degree.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred, but we will consider strong new Au.D. graduates following completion of an externship with extensive ENT experience.
- Audiology license from the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
- License from the North Carolina State Hearing Aid Dealers and Fitters Board (if applicable).
- Certification from the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and/or certification from the American Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Association (ASHA) or Certification from the American Board of Audiology (ABA) (recommended).
