Patient Service Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Coordinator to join our team at Northern Light Health. This is a full-time position located in Inland Hospital, working 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule/reschedule patient appointments based on physician availability.
  • Greet visitors and patients, answering phone calls and recording messages in a timely manner.
  • Enter and update patient registration data and accounts.
  • Perform photocopying duties as required.
  • Pre-certify patients when necessary and process referral requests.
  • Transcribe letters and memos as needed.
  • Maintain computer backups and process mail.
  • Address insurance company calls and correct/edit transcriptions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a High School Diploma or equivalent, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You must also have basic computer skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Benefits:

Northern Light Health offers a competitive salary of $43,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
