Care Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Care Program Coordinator to join our team at Brethren Care Village. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to plan, organize, and direct activity programs for residents.
Duties and Responsibilities- Implement planned activities as outlined on the calendar of events.
- Transport residents to and from planned activities in and outside the facility.
- Provide one-on-one activities with residents unable to attend group activities, when time allows.
- Maintain documentation of resident's participation in activities.
- Speak in front of large crowds during special events.
- Organize activities in the event of a cancelled event.
- A high school graduate preferred.
- Ability to pass an activity certification program.
- Willingness to increase training through in-services in and outside the facility.
This position involves working indoors and outdoors, with possible exposure to weather extremes. The work environment is well-lit and ventilated, but may be subject to falls, odors, and injuries from equipment. Employees may also be exposed to infectious waste, diseases, chemicals, and various viruses, including Hepatitis B and AIDS.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include a 90-day probationary period, cordial relations with residents and their families, and clear communication with staff.
