Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Furnace Technician Trainee to join our team at ATI Materials. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for various furnace testing, including temperature uniformity, system accuracy tests, calibration, and furnace repair.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform furnace adjustments, repair, and maintenance, thermocouple hook-up, calibrations, and furnace certification.
  • Conduct furnace calibration, maintenance, and repair on die heater, ovens, box, pusher, car bottom for furnaces, baths/tanks, etc.
  • Adjust, calibrate, and repair combustion equipment and related equipment such as blowers, fans, piping, valves, regulators, and burners.
  • Light furnaces and make proper furnace adjustments for uniformity.
  • Perform bench work and troubleshooting running repairs on all controllers, indicators, meters, potentiometers, various motors, and relays.
  • Work on fume scrubbers and work in the Kolene facilities.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.
  • Must pass aptitude test.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior Heat Treat Experience.
  • Technical Equipment Experience.
  • Knowledge of furnace operation, temperature control, and heat treat process.
