Job Description

MARTA Police Services is seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Public Safety Specialists – Transit Enforcement. As a Public Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of MARTA passengers, employees, and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol transit facilities and systems to prevent and detect crime
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses
  • Apprehend and arrest suspects, issuing warnings and citations as necessary
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and community groups to enhance public safety
Qualifications and Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; POST certification preferred
  • Minimum age 21; United States citizenship required
  • Valid Driver's License required; ability to work varying shifts and weekends
Salary and Benefits

Salary: $25.50-$29.82 per hour

Benefits include a consolidated hiring process for out-of-town applicants, relocation assistance, and up to $5,000 tuition reimbursement for career-related courses.
