Agronomy Applicator Job Description

The Agronomy Applicator is a full-time position at Superior AG Resources Cooperative Inc. responsible for the application of crop nutrients and crop protection products. This role also involves the maintenance of custom application vehicles, equipment, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Crop Application: Precisely blends and custom applies fertilizers and agricultural chemicals based on recommendations and label directions.
• Facility and Equipment Maintenance: Maintains facility and equipment so that they have a good appearance and are always in working order.
• Mechanic Work: Performs mechanic work on assigned vehicles.
• Record Keeping: Completes applicator logs and reports.
• Inventory Management: Keeps the Location Manager informed of product inventory levels that could restrict application or delivery schedules.
• Customer Service: Promotes the business with existing and potential customers.
• Delivery: Be responsible for timely delivery of products to local destinations.
• CDL License: Be able to obtain and maintain a CDL license with all necessary endorsements.
• Equipment Operation: Operate equipment in a safe and prudent manner.
• Seasonal Employee Training: Help and Train Seasonal Employees.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Valid Drivers License.
• Prior experience a plus but not required.
