Job Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities as a Clinical Nurse Leader will include:

  • Providing direct patient care and leading a team of nurses to deliver safe, effective care.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Mentoring and precepting new nursing staff to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A current RN license in New Mexico or eligibility for reciprocity.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in orthopedic care.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and coach others.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practice and quality improvement principles.
