We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Systems Design Engineer to join our team at Ta Systems Inc.

About the Job

The salary for this position is approximately $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication. As an Electrical Systems Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting custom machine applications using modern software practices.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating control configuration and network architecture from customer-supplied control logic, I/O database, etc.
  • Producing electric controls engineering designs and modifications by identifying project objectives and issues as needed
  • Researching and developing electric controls engineering techniques and approaches
  • Verifying and validating designs as needed
  • Designing graphical user interfaces
  • Configuring and programming software
  • Programming control sequences
  • Providing system documentation as required
  • Testing and debugging
  • Customer training and support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer or electrical engineering or similar
  • 5+ years of direct field experience or equivalent
  • Solid skills with technical, troubleshooting, and documentation
  • Understanding of Fanuc, ABB, Kawasaki, Motoman Robotics
  • Ability to program using RSLogics 5000, Siemens S7, TIA Portal, and various platforms
  • Ability to program with Factory Talk View Studio, Siemens Win CC, and various platforms
  • Ability to program Keyence, Cognex, Dalsa, and be interested in programming other vision systems

You should also have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
