Job SummaryThis is a temporary Electro-Mechanical Assembler position for up to 9 months. The successful candidate will perform routine assembly operations on components or subassemblies of moderate complexity.
Responsibilities- Assemble housings and chassis for electronic units to meet production schedules and performance standards.
- Use Operational Method Sheets, drawings, schematics, verbal/written instructions, and hand tools to assemble, modify, rework, or reassemble units.
- Communicate openly and effectively in a professional manner.
- Understand and follow all safety requirements and ISO practices and procedures.
- Consider the impact of quality on customers when making decisions.
Location: Ronkonkoma, NY
Works in a manufacturing environment that may be noisy and fast-paced. Many tasks are repetitive in motion and include the use of hand tools. Overtime may be required in times of increased production or service repairs.
Requirements- Mechanical assembly skills and the ability to use hand tools.
- Ability to read technical assembly documentation.
- Basic PC knowledge.
- Knowledge of SAP preferred.
- Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
