About the Senior Account Manager Role:

This role involves leading strategic PR and marketing communications programs for key clients, including a prominent Florida brand. As a Senior Account Manager, you will combine strategy with execution, leadership, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. You will also mentor junior staff and contribute to business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee communication plans that align with client objectives, ensuring efficient and cost-effective execution.
  • Craft newsworthy stories, secure local and national media coverage, and build strong relationships with reporters and content creators.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, maintaining regular communication to review progress, manage reputational risks, and identify new opportunities.
  • Manage, mentor, and delegate to team members while supporting their professional growth and development.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, both with existing clients and potential new ones. Assist in the creation of compelling business proposals.

Essential Criteria:

  • 5+ years professional PR experience, ideally within an agency environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to secure media coverage at local, national, and influencer levels. A strong network of media contacts and the ability to develop creative media strategies.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects, and mentoring junior staff in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities, manage budgets, and contribute to business development efforts.
  • Strong understanding of PR strategy, stakeholder engagement, and crisis communications, with the ability to pivot quickly as needed.
