At Atrium Health, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in the Skilled Nursing department. This is a part-time (PRN) position that requires flexibility and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as an LPN and be licensed to practice in the state where they work and reside or meet the licensure requirements in their home state through the National License Compact. We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

This role involves performing nursing care and assisting with planning and implementing care for the comfort and well-being of patients/residents. The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, physician, or other licensed independent practitioner to provide direct patient care and support ongoing data collection. Key responsibilities include assessment, recognition of immediate intervention needs, documentation of patient observations, treatments, and responses, and communication with clinical staff on significant changes in patient status.

We require a graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing, BLS certification, and physical Abilities Testing. The selected candidate must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds, speak English in good understandable terms, and have intact senses of sight, hearing, smell, and touch.
