We are seeking a talented Nurse to join our team as a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse in Anchorage, Alaska.

About the Role: As a PCU RN, you will be responsible for evaluating and monitoring patients upon admittance to the unit, changing dressings, starting or changing IVs, preparing medical equipment, and assisting doctors with bedside procedures. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, making a meaningful impact on the lives of your patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and monitor patients upon admittance to the PCU
  • Change dressings, start or change IVs, prepare medical equipment, and assist doctors with bedside procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently

Requirements:

  • Current Alaska Nursing License
  • 2 years of recent experience in Progressive/step-down/transitional Care Unit nursing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
