Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and patients to resolve issues and answer questions.
  • Develop strong relationships with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to enhance growth opportunities.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, including participating in quality improvement initiatives and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
