AdventHealth Primary Care Network is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) to join our team in the greater Orlando area.

The APP, under the supervision of the Physicians, is responsible for:

  • Performing physical examinations of patients, assessing and treating injuries or illnesses for pediatric through geriatric patients, including women's health
  • Ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory, X-ray, etc.
  • Independent and collaborative medical management of acute and chronic conditions
  • Monitoring the patient's course of treatment and making appropriate referrals to either a physician or specialist, as needed
  • Collaborating with physician supervisors and staff, as necessary, to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff
  • Displaying a caring and professional attitude at all times, as well as maintaining personal and professional growth

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Nursing (FNP) or Physician Assistant studies
  • Ideally, 1-2 years of clinical practice experience in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred, or 5 years or more RN experience required. Must have primary care outpatient experience.
  • Experience treating patients of all ages and a variety of acute and chronic conditions highly preferred

Licensure, Certification, and Registration:

  • Current, valid Florida APRN or PA-C license
  • Current, valid DEA license
  • ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA (or equivalent) certification
  • Current BLS required; ACLS preferred
