Security Operations Manager

About the RoleThe Field Supervisor is responsible for supporting operations in remotely managed accounts by providing on-site supervision of Security Professionals and ensuring site coverage at all times. This role works closely with Operations Managers to oversee remote service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular site visits to monitor performance, address daily operations issues, communicate policy changes or company information, adjust staffing schedules as needed, and perform post inspections to maintain professional image and quality standards.
- Provide on-the-job training to new employees assigned to post, including orientation to the post, review of post orders, routine responsibilities, and emergency procedures.
- Respond to call-offs during their shift, which may involve identifying replacements and assisting with scheduling changes.
- Identify and escalate personnel problems occurring at posts, such as payroll issues or employee relations complaints, to Operations Manager and/or Corporate Human Resources Director.
- Administer counseling or disciplinary actions initiated by Branch Manager and/or Corporate HR Director, following specific instructions.
- Distribute information to posts as directed by Branch or Corporate office, which may include communicating information to Security Officers and obtaining signed acknowledgements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Licensing requirements subject to state and local laws and regulations, with valid driver's license and three years of professional protective service experience.
- Ability to write effective reports and use good independent judgment.
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to interact with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines effectively.
- Experience in scheduling, operations management, or leadership functions in the security industry.
- Prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement, or military.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
This position offers an estimated salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plan, paid holidays, sick days, personal days, and vacation time.
