Veterans Care Team Member

As a Nursing Assistant at the Department of Veterans Affairs, you will play a vital role in ensuring that veterans receive high-quality, compassionate care. This is a full-time permanent position, reporting directly to the Nurse Manager of the Surgical Specialty Clinics.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment, where all employees feel valued and respected.

- Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
- Participate in patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Perform routine treatments and administer medications
- Support patients and families emotionally and psychologically
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
We offer a competitive salary of $35,650 - $58,202 per year, depending on experience. We also provide a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
