Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all Behavioral Health Medical Professional (BHMP) services under the direction of the Medical Director. You will also work closely with the Medical Director to coordinate and improve clinical care.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise, evaluate, and provide leadership and coaching to BHMP personnel.
  • Responsible for scheduling and arranging coverage for BHMP absences.
  • Work as a BHMP in various capacities during staff shortages and in emergent situations.
  • Ensure that the delivery of BHMP care complies with licensing regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to continuously improve productivity, efficiency, recovery outcomes, and medical care.
  • Coordinate the relationship with outside medical and nursing support services, including pharmacy and laboratory services.
  • Provide Clinical Supervision to BHMP staff.
  • Complete clinical documentation as required.
  • Conduct ongoing audits of services provided by BHMP staff.
  • Participate in the Operational Performance Committee and the Clinical Performance Committee, assuming responsibility for continuous improvement of operational and clinical Key Performance Indicators as they pertain to BHMPs.
  • Understand and adhere to RI International compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
  • Maintain knowledge of federal and state regulations and laws, as well as RI International policies, and adapt to changes or modifications.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid and current state-specific Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Possess basic computer skills.
  • Be able to pay close attention to detail.
  • Show ability to problem solve.
  • Exhibit effective communication and listening skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent documentation skills.
  • Hold a Master's Degree or above in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing, with certification in Psychiatric care and DEA registration.
  • Have a minimum of four years of progressively responsible nursing experience, including two years of behavioral health nursing and two years of management experience.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $183,500-$203,000, depending on qualifications and location.
