Job Overview

UW Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Care Specialist to join our Inpatient Float Pool team. This role offers the opportunity to work in various patient care settings, providing high-quality direct physical care and basic nursing procedures.

About the Role

This position involves working as a supportive partner with registered nurses on General Care, Intermediate Care, ICU, and Critical Care units. You will provide direct physical care and assist with activities of daily living, repositioning, transfers, patient mobility, and intentional rounding. The ideal candidate will interact and engage with visitors, patients, and their family members to establish trusting relationships and deliver exceptional care.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Graduate of a State of Wisconsin-approved Nurse Aid Training Program is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Nursing Assistant is preferred.
  • Listed on the State of Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry Upon Hire is required.
  • BLS/CPR certification within 3 months is also required.
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $45,000 to $65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
