The Agricultural and Standards Program Aide role at Sacramento County requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent customer service skills.

Assisting in the enforcement of agricultural or weights and measures laws and pest control, the ideal candidate will possess knowledge of basic record keeping techniques, principles of customer service, and ability to learn insects and plants related to the area of assignment.

A valid California Driver License, Class C or higher, is required, as well as physical abilities to stand for long periods, walk long distances, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Candidates must also be able to work in various weather conditions, travel within an assigned area, and adapt to non-routine hours, including weekends and holidays.

The position offers a competitive salary, estimated to be around $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
