Sanitation Technician I

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician I to join our team at Litehouse. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our food manufacturing facility.

• Perform all job duties and operations in a safe manner, adhering to federal, state, and Litehouse regulations and policies.
• Clean and sanitize tanks or other food storage containers, as well as multiple areas to meet or exceed environmental and plant requirements.
• Inspect completed tasks to verify conformance to specifications, including required paperwork/documentation.
• Utilize tools, chemicals, cleaning equipment, water, and other items to perform duties.
• Adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to your supervisor.
• Maintain a clean work area and participate in housekeeping throughout the facility and grounds.
• Work scheduled shifts and meet attendance requirements.

• High School Diploma/GED strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express ideas professionally, effectively, and efficiently in the common language.
• Ability to access and identify mechanical and/or electrical problems during disassembly and reassembly of equipment.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Compute basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of the company.

The Sanitation Technician I will work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe working area. The employee will be required to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
