About the Role

The Department of Cardiovascular Diseases at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, is seeking a board-certified physician with a focus in wound care to join our team.

This is a full-time position with a significant allocation to the clinical practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about wound care, in all three shields: clinical, research, and education.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will participate in the various Vascular Center clinics as well as patient care assignments to the Vascular Medicine hospital consultative practice based on candidate experience and training.

Additionally, several members of the section have active translational and epidemiologic research programs.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold an MD/DO or equivalent degree and board-certified in their designated specialty. A Wound Care certification is required (ABWMS, ACCWS, ABMS or other qualifying wound certification).

Experience or training in vascular disease evaluation and management is an advantage (includes peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, lymphatic diseases, thrombophilia, and clotting disorders, or vasculitis).
