About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Ambulatory Clinics to join our team at Texas Children's Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and leading daily clinic operational support staff and personnel activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective operational strategies to improve patient flow, reduce wait times, and enhance overall patient experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
  • Lead and manage a team of operational staff, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to ensure high levels of performance and engagement.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 6 years of healthcare experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of success in operational management, with a focus on process improvement and patient satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
