We are seeking a dedicated LPN/LVN to join our team at InGenesis. As a part-time, casual candidate, you will have the opportunity to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.

About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to assigned patients, ensuring their physical, psychological, social, cultural, spiritual, and developmental needs are met. You will work closely with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients within the scope of your practice, adhering to current accepted practices, licensure, certification, credentialing, and granted privileges.
  • Treat patients across the lifespan, tailoring your approach to the discipline and facility setting.
  • Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies and coordinate responses as needed.
  • Evaluate patient health needs and assist the RN in developing nursing care plans that meet those needs.
  • Maintain adherence to practical nursing principles, procedures, and techniques for optimal patient care, taking direction from registered nurses and administrative personnel.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an approved, accredited Vocational/Practical Nurse program in a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, or a U.S. territory.
  • A current, full, and unrestricted LVN/LPN license in the state where the duty station is located.
  • At least one year of professional experience as a licensed vocational nurse/licensed practical nurse.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
