Job Overview

As a Grocery Department Associate at Food Lion, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the high standards of our retail operations. This position requires a strong commitment to delivering quality results and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including shelves and shelf tag moldings
* Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience
* Stock merchandise from tag to tag, ensuring that ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning, and displaying of merchandise are done in accordance with policies and guidelines
* Use company tools such as ACIS and CAO to optimize inventory management and sales
* Adhere to Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures

Educational Requirements

* High school graduate or equivalent preferred

Physical Demands

* Ability to lift products weighing up to 15 lbs continuously, 25 lbs frequently, and 50 lbs on occasion
* Perform repetitive hand and arm motions
* Stand 100% of the time, frequently walking short distances
