Social Media Manager, Entertainment

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Media Manager to join our team at Netflix. As a key member of our social media team, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to reach and engage with LGBTQ+ audiences across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute social media strategies to reach LGBTQ+ audiences, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other platforms.
- Build and execute social media strategies for relevant Netflix films and series, aligned with the overall marketing campaign strategy.
- Manage internal and agency resources to execute title and slate social campaigns, from ideation to production and distribution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Creative Marketing, Publicity, Paid Media, Events, and others, to build social strategies that support business priorities.
- Develop multi-title promotional narratives based on audience behavior and need states, as well as existing channel tentpoles.
- Use internal and external social analytics and other internal data to inform strategy, iterate creative, and continuously improve future campaigns.
- Experience working on broad, multiple-platform marketing campaigns and delivering nuanced, insight-based social strategies.
- Knowledge of what works across various social platforms and experience in multi-channel distribution efforts.
- Background and affinity for LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture spaces.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and highly collaborative, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using data and intuition to make content that grabs attention and engages its audience.
- Ability to prioritize and handle several projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong relationships and ability to work across multiple internal cross-functional teams.
- Experience working directly with filmmakers and ability to pitch/present effectively.
- High tolerance for change and capacity to accomplish enormous amounts of work in a fast-paced environment.
