We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Oroville Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our Medical/Surgical unit.

This is a per diem position that requires flexibility in scheduling, with variable shifts available. If you have excellent communication skills, a compassionate bedside manner, and the ability to work well under pressure, we encourage you to apply.

The successful candidate will have experience working as a staff nurse, preferably with one year of experience in a similar setting. Current American Heart Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from The American Heart Association or The American Red Cross for Healthcare Providers is mandatory. ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred but not required.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating patient care for patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric. You will coordinate and delegate tasks to other healthcare professionals, provide direct nursing care to patients, and supervise patient care team members as needed.

Your duties will include conducting initial and ongoing assessments, reviewing patient assessments, collaborating with patients' families to implement plans of care, implementing medical and surgical care plans, beginning discharge processes, providing and delegating care for patients, evaluating patient responses to interventions, documenting patient records consistently with hospital charting standards, and reporting changes in patient status to charge nurses or physicians.
