Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This includes:

  • Providing direct patient care within the scope of practice
  • Directing and guiding patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel
  • Maintaining standards of care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit

As a Registered Nurse, you'll be responsible for communicating with physicians about changes in patient clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology. You'll also be responsible for responding quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current and valid state RN license
  • A current BLS certificate
  • A current ACLS certificate (30 days upon hire and maintain current, preferred)
  • Previous acute care hospital experience (preferred)
  • Ventilator management experience (preferred)
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree (preferred)
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary for this role, with an estimated salary range of $70,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Estimated Annual Salary: $95,000
