Job Description

This Crisis Care Specialist, Child Crisis position plays a vital role in our Crisis Program, providing care to individuals and families who receive services through our program. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safety, client rights, confidentiality, comfort, dignity, and therapeutic environment for individuals receiving services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide care to individuals receiving services in a manner that ensures their safety, client rights, confidentiality, comfort, dignity, and a therapeutic environment.
  • Carry out functions that contribute to the effectiveness and safety of the unit, including crisis intervention, taking vital signs, observation of individuals receiving services.
  • Maintain inventory supplies and make appropriate requisitions.
  • Create an environment conducive to recovery consistent with SRMH/DD/SAS and Crisis Services philosophy and best practice.
  • Respect the rights of individuals receiving services to make choices within available parameters and follow their crisis plan.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma (Required)
  • Experience working with children/adolescents with a mental health diagnosis and/or substance use disorder
Estimated Salary Range

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
