The Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Data Insights Strategist to transform data into actionable insights that inform our content strategy. This role involves conducting in-depth research, analyzing first-party data, surveys, and external sources to uncover key trends and opportunities in our industry.


You'll collaborate closely with the content and marketing teams to turn complex data into engaging stories that resonate with our audience and solidify our position as a thought leader in the field.


Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough research by analyzing first-party data, surveys, and external sources to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities within our market.
  • Designing and executing surveys and data collection initiatives to gather insights from our audience, ensuring robust and reliable datasets for analysis.
  • Developing comprehensive research reports to be leveraged in content creation, marketing campaigns, and product positioning.
  • Collaborating with content, marketing, and product teams to translate research findings into engaging, data-backed content such as whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and industry reports.
  • Monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies, regularly sharing insights with stakeholders to inform research direction.
  • Analyzing data from multiple sources, including proprietary databases, surveys, and third-party reports, to develop a holistic understanding of the market landscape.
  • Presenting research findings to internal teams, providing clear and concise reports that highlight key insights and recommendations.
  • Supporting thought leadership initiatives by providing data and insights that serve as the foundation for high-quality content across various platforms.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 5-7 years of experience in a research or data analysis role, preferably within the technology, SaaS, or data-driven industries.
  • Proven ability to conduct both qualitative and quantitative research, including survey design, data collection, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI, Looker, Domo, or Data Studio for presenting research insights and reports.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey research findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple research projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.
  • Familiarity with research tools and platforms such as SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, or Typeform for survey creation and distribution.
