Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Specialist to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our medical staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
• Gather and process patient information for billing and coordination of care
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records and adhere to all policies and procedures
• Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry and phone coverage
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in business or medical sciences preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in a similar office administrative role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, including Outlook and Word
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
