Job Description

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled Principal Power Systems Engineer to lead the design and development of power solutions for our next-generation server machines. As a key member of our power engineering team, you will be responsible for creating innovative power architectures and designs that meet the demanding requirements of our cloud and vertically integrated rack-level solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of power solutions for Oracle's next-generation server machines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure power requirements meet specifications.
  • Develop and implement test plans to validate power designs.
  • Mentor junior power engineers and provide guidance on power design methodologies.
  • Participate in rack-level, system, and board-level power architecture and design meetings.

Requirements:

  • Experience with system-level power distribution and architecture from rack down to chip level.
  • Experience with the design of high-power on-board modern multi-phase VRD designs as well as DC-DC converters, voltage regulators, and electronic circuit breakers.
  • Strong knowledge and application of high-speed design methodologies for power integrity/signal integrity.
  • Proficient in CAD design tools such as Cadence, Concept, Allegro.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
