Job Summary:

Exeter Health Resources is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operate diagnostic imaging equipment during procedures, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
  2. Assist cardiologists and vascular surgeons as a scrub technologist, providing essential support during complex procedures.
  3. Monitor and analyze patient hemodynamic and angiographic data, calculating valve areas and shunts as directed by physicians.
  4. Record patient EKG, pressures, and other case specifics, providing direct patient care under general guidance.
  5. Alert physicians to changes in patient response and assist with medicating patients while evaluating their response.
  6. Utilize diagnostic and interventional devices and equipment under physician direction, ensuring seamless procedure execution.
  7. Assist with cases in the Operating Room, demonstrating expertise and professionalism.

Requirements:
  • High school graduate or GED
  • 1 year of allied health care experience preferred
  • Graduate of Cardiovascular Technologist Program (CVT) or RT Program
  • NH Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy (MIRT)
  • RT or RCIS or eligible
  • CPR certified within 90 days of hire
  • ACLS within 3 months of hire
