Senior Safety Manager

Safety Leadership Role
The Senior Safety Manager will provide strategic direction and leadership in safety improvement efforts at the Center TX facility. As a key member of the Plant Management Team, this role will support and advise site management on safety matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating a proactive safety strategy, driving a sustainable, healthy, and safe operational environment, and participating in developing a vision for safety. This includes enhancing established programs and implementing new ones within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of safety programs to minimize company losses due to accidents
- Measure the effectiveness of safety programs and lead compliance with OSHA regulations
- Inspect machinery, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with OSHA
- Analyze accident statistics to establish necessary precautions and changes needed for plant safety
- Communicate safety policy and procedure changes to management personnel
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or Industrial Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of progressive experience in environment, safety, and sustainability management
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA hazard communications, accident investigation, and safety training methods
