We are seeking a dedicated and strategic-minded Nonprofit Development Manager to join our team at SFV Community Mental Health.

Key Responsibilities:


Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies in partnership with the Director of Development to achieve annual revenue goals and long-term sustainability.


Cultivate relationships with individual donors, foundations, corporations, and government entities to secure financial support.


Write compelling grant proposals, sponsorship packages, donor appeals, and written news and promotional materials to effectively communicate the organization's mission and programs.


Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns, leveraging digital platforms and traditional methods.


Manage year-round solicitation activities, including direct mail and campaigns.


Manage donor stewardship and recognition activities to ensure strong donor retention and engagement.


Research funding opportunities and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.


Collaborate with program staff to align fundraising efforts with programmatic goals and impact reporting.


Prepare regular reports on fundraising progress and financial projections for senior management and the board of directors.


Create and oversee a calendar of social media activities.


Demonstrate the ability to think creatively and bring fresh ideas and approaches to development initiatives.


Exhibit flexibility, drive, and a roll-up-your-sleeves approach.
