About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Engineer to join our team at DEKA Research & Development, located in Manchester, NH.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of innovative electromechanical systems. As an Electromechanical Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate stakeholder needs into actionable design requirements, define critical system features, and conduct research and engineering testing to guide product development.

Responsibilities:
  • Translate explicit and implicit stakeholder needs into actionable design requirements
  • Define critical system features and subsystems interfaces in sophisticated software, electrical, mechanical, and biological systems
  • Conduct research and engineering testing to guide product development and system integration
  • Perform risk management activities including: hazards identification, failure modes and effects analysis, risk analysis, root cause analysis, and risk benefits assessments

Requirements:
  • MS/BS in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 1+ years experience in an electromechanical role (Must show examples of multi-disciplined experience)
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and techniques
  • Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Knowledge and deep understanding of engineering fundamentals
  • Passion for biomedical technologies and problem solving using first principles thinking

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
