About the Job

We are seeking a qualified Class A CDL holder to join our team of professional truck drivers. As a solo driver, you will be responsible for hauling freight across the United States and Canada, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional customer service.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $1,700 to over $2,000 per week, depending on your experience and performance. Additionally, you can enjoy various benefits, including paid time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage, starting at 30 days after hire. Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards.
  • Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by the customer.
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years old.
  • Pass a Ryder drug test and background check.
  • Have a valid Class A CDL with endorsements.
  • Possess at least 9 months of verifiable experience within the past 3 years or 2 years' experience within the last 5 years or 5 years' experience within the last 10 years in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures.
