Job Summary:

Anchor Sandblasting and Coatings LLC is seeking a skilled Marine Painter/Blaster to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for performing blasting and painting operations to meet contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply coatings through conventional and airless spray systems
  • Apply paint with brush and roll
  • Knowledge of various painting methods and applications
  • Knowledge of various blasts
  • Grinding, sanding and polishing
  • Painting, caulking and sealing
  • Direct blast of abrasive-laden compressed air or water against metal or hard composition objects to remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust and dirt to impart even finish
  • Apply masking materials to protect designated areas from abrasive finish
  • Apply epoxy, polyurethane and solids coatings
  • Operate a man lift, work at heights, and swing stage training
  • Must wear respirator and other required PPE

Work Environment:

Our work environment is typical of heavy industrial settings and may include noise, heat, cold, vibration, dust, fumes and smoke.


Physical Demands:

The candidate must possess the physical abilities necessary to perform all aspects of the job including but not limited to; general lifting and carrying equipment and tools, bending and climbing.

Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time. Work in various types of weather conditions.

Days and Hours:
Full-time position. Day shift working 40+ hours per week. Must be available for evenings and weekends as needed. Complete work schedule will be discussed with applicant.

Pay:
$26 hourly. Benefits are offered.
