Job Title: Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery PM

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Laredo Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery PM will be responsible for evaluating assigned patients, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care. This will include assisting physicians during examinations and procedures, performing various patient tests, and administering medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
  • Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
  • Promote patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program.
  • Licensed as a R.N. by the Texas State Board of Registered Nurse Examiners.
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP, Stable, Basic, intermediate, and advanced fetal monitoring.
  • Internship or 3 months experience as an RN.
  • Preferred: Labor and Delivery Experience.
