Job Title: Quality & Training Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Quality & Training Manager to join our team at Alternative Wellness Services Inc. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact in the field of clinical excellence.

  • Continuous Quality Improvement: Design and maintain quality measures to ensure we remain data driven and agile.
  • Empower Through Training: Design and implement engaging training programs that equip our staff and interns with the tools they need to thrive.
  • Provide Direct Care: Maintain a small caseload of outpatient therapy clients, staying connected to the heart of our mission.
  • Mentor and Inspire: Guide and support our clinical interns, nurturing their professional growth and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Shape the Future: Collaborate with leadership to refine quality assurance processes and contribute to the agency's strategic vision.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree: A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is likely required given the clinical supervision and direct service responsibilities.
  • Clinical Licensure: An active Maine license as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) is mandatory and CCS strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Clinical Supervision: A proven track record of providing effective clinical supervision and mentorship to interns or less experienced clinicians is necessary.
  • Quality Assurance Experience: Prior experience in developing and implementing quality assurance programs, conducting audits, and analyzing clinical data would be highly beneficial.
  • Training & Development Experience: Experience in designing and delivering training programs, particularly in a clinical setting, would be valuable.
  • Background Checks: Successful completion of criminal, child protective service, and sex offender background checks. Not listed on state or federal suspension and debarment lists.
