At Thrive at Green Island, we are seeking highly motivated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. This is a unique opportunity to work on weekends with a bonus incentive for meeting certain requirements.

About the Role

This 12-hour shift position requires working Saturday and Sunday, with options for 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, serving in the dining room, providing companionship and engagement, responding to resident needs, and supervising and overseeing residents' care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living): Support residents with their personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Serve in the Dining Room: Ensure residents receive nutritious meals and snacks, promoting a positive dining experience.
  • Provide Companionship and Engagement: Build relationships with residents, encourage participation in activities, and foster an atmosphere of respect and dignity.
  • Respond to Resident Needs: Anticipate and address residents' needs promptly, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Supervise and Oversee Residents' Care: Provide general supervision and oversight of residents, ensuring their safety and quality of life.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Patient and Loving Nature: Demonstrate empathy and kindness when interacting with residents.
  • Excellent Time Management Skills: Prioritize tasks efficiently to meet the needs of residents and colleagues.
  • CNA License or Equivalent Experience: Possess a valid CNA license or have relevant experience in assisted living, nursing home, or hospital settings.
Compensation and Benefits
