Level 2 System Administrator

Are you ready to embark on a journey of digital transformation with a leading aerospace and defense company? Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Technical Support and Systems Administration Specialist to join our team.
This role is a critical part of our Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Team (MFC), where you will support DoD critical programs on engineering networks and special test equipment in labs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for workstation administration on heterogeneous networks, managing operating system cyber compliance, and ensuring the integrity and availability of applications.
We are looking for an individual with a strong background in Windows 7/10, Windows Server, and Linux operating systems. Your expertise in troubleshooting and maintenance of IT hardware, as well as your ability to implement security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures, will be invaluable to our team.
As a Technical Support and Systems Administration Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate with a talented team of professionals. Key Responsibilities:
- Workstation administration on heterogeneous networks
- Manage operating system cyber compliance
- Ensure the integrity and availability of applications
- Troubleshoot and maintain IT hardware
- Implement security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures
Requirements:
- Active Secret clearance
- Ability to maintain a security clearance and customer acceptance
- IAT Level II or III DoD Approved 8140 certification
- Knowledge and experience with Windows in an Active Directory environment
- Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience developing effective stakeholder and partner relationships
- Proven business acumen to manage multiple assignments and projects
Desired Skills:
- Security+, or other IAT Level II/III security certification
- Experience building, operating, and maintaining secure operating system configurations
- Experience working in Active Directory domains
- Scripting ability to support system administration activities
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
