Estimated Salary RangeThe estimated salary for this position is between $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Electrician I to join our team as a Utility Construction Specialist. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects.
Responsibilities:- Read and interpret blueprints to estimate project costs and manage electrical projects.
- Control costs based on project budgets and possess a working knowledge of the electrical industry.
- Manage site acquisition, engineering, and construction projects in compliance with established processes and policies.
- Determine future opportunities to deploy additional products and services based on customer network and business models.
- Conduct risk management and contingency planning, negotiation of complex or sensitive issues to a favorable resolution.
- Enforce the MasTec Network Solutions quality program and ensure that appropriate safety guidelines are followed in the performance of the work by staff and vendors.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A valid driver's license and driving record meeting company policy conditions.
- Availability to work weekends and/or nights, in extreme weather conditions if necessary, and willingness to travel extensively.
- Ability to work out of the market or away from home as work demands.
- Ability to lift and/or carry a minimum of 15 lbs.
